The scientific Reference Doses used by VITAL are based on ED05 values. This is the dose of total allergenic protein predicted to produce objective symptoms in approximately 5% of the allergic population.
These Reference Doses are based on a common scientific approach and are applicable across jurisdictions, while recognising that some jurisdictions may have specific Reference Dose requirements.
